February 7th, 2022: TTA,Travel Tales Award is back!
Starring, with Photographers.it, Viaggio Fotografico, Il FOTOGRAFO, OTTO Gallery, Colorno Photo Life Festival, ISP - CITIES and NOC Sensei, proposes the second edition of TRAVEL TALES AWARD, an extended initiative for the promotion of authorial projects related to Travel Photography.
The first edition in 2021 ended with over 200 Travel Stories sent by the Authors who signed up the call, then selected by the Scientific Committee to arrive at the 50 finalist stories published. We have received travel stories from six continents, including Antarctica! Photos and words to tell the most exciting travel experiences made by the authors. Travelers stories, at end. In 2022 we will also have a section of single photos selected by Instagram from those that will publish images on IG with the hashtag #TTA2022
How does TRAVEL TALES AWARD develop in 2022?
We will continue with the initiatives related to the award that were very successful in 2021, the 50 stories selected and published on the site, the overall winners, the portfolios selected by IL FOTOGRAFO magazine, the interview on Noc Sensei site, the section published on the magazine Cities 11, the exhibition in Rome at Otto Gallery, the book Travel Tales II, the social posts dedicated by all partners also to the individual award-winning stories
This year, however, there is another new initiative linked to the Prize developed with a new partner: a large collective exhibition for which 40 authors will be selected and appear with 1 image each, taken from their respective stories, in the exhibition "TTA World Visions" which will be organized in September in the orangery of the Museum of land and river landscapes in Colorno, as part of the Colorno Photo Life Festival.
In 2022 we also start with a specific initiative dedicated to Instagram: it will be enough to publish a beautiful travel photograph on Instagram with the hashtag #TTA2022 to participate in the selections of 20 authors who will have the pleasure of seeing their 20 images shot and highlighted on our new IG channel and published in the dedicated section "Travel World Pics" of the site www.viaggiofotografico.it.
The Travel World Pics section will also be published in the number 11 of Cities with the 20 images selected, due out in November 2022.
The selection committee saw the entry of two new members, Gigi Montali and Attilio Lauria, two great professionals and well-known faces in the sector.
Entries and project shipments must be made by May 16, 2022, the expiry date of the Award selection call.
