Sono utili? Dipende, da chi le fa e dall’aspettativa del fotografo…. certamente non capita spesso di potersi far dare una consulenza da autori internazionali così esperti e ben presenti sulla scena internazionale della street, quindi conviene approfittarne!

Richard Bram è membro fondatore di UP Photographers, il primo collettivo internazionale di fotografia di strada, e da 3 anni è senior editor del magazine CITIES. Vive sulle rive del Tamigi nell'est di Londra, dove osserva l'acqua, la luce e l'aria di quel grande fiume.
Il suo lavoro viene regolarmente pubblicato su riviste tradizionali e digitali ( abbiamo pubblicato una sua serie su Cuba anche in Cities8 ) e scrive e tiene conferenze sulla fotografia di strada in tutto il mondo. Oggi, con base a Londra, è ancora in movimento alla ricerca di nuove immagini.
Le sue opere sono state esposte in oltre quaranta mostre personali e collettive in tutto il mondo, e fanno parte delle principali collezioni museali in America ed Europa.
Sono stati pubblicati tre suoi libri autoriali: "Richard Bram: Street Photography" (2006), "Richard Bram: NEW YORK" (2016) e "Short Stories" (2020), e il quarto, "Restless Eye", è in prevendita ora con la casa editrice EYESHOT.

Julie Hrudová (Praga, 1988) è una fotografa di strada e documentaristica ed editor fotografica con base ad Amsterdam, nei Paesi Bassi. Il suo lavoro esplora la vita quotidiana e la narrazione visiva in ambienti urbani.
Julie ha collaborato con una vasta gamma di pubblicazioni e le sue fotografie sono state esposte in numerose mostre, su scala internazionale. Il suo libro Chasing Amsterdam, che presenta le sue foto settimanali di Amsterdam scattate per il giornale Het Parool, è stato selezionato come uno dei migliori libri fotografici olandesi del 2022 da de Volkskrant. Attualmente continua a contribuire settimanalmente con foto serali a questa sezione.

Portfolio readings, these are known...
Are they useful? It depends, on who makes them and on the photographer's expectation.... Certainly it does not happen often to be able to get advice from international authors who are so experienced and well present on the international street scene, so it is worth taking advantage of it!

Richard Bram is a founding member of UP Photographers, the first international street photography collective, and for 3 years he has been senior editor of CITIES magazine. He lives on the banks of the Thames in East London, where he observes the water, light and air of that great river.
His work is regularly published in mainstream and digital magazines (we have also published a series of his on Cuba in Cities8 ) and he writes and lectures on street photography around the world. Today, based in London, he is still on the move in search of new images.
His works have been exhibited in over forty solo and group exhibitions around the world, and are part of the main museum collections in America and Europe. Three of his authorial books have been published: "Richard Bram: Street Photography" (2006), "Richard Bram: NEW YORK" (2016) and "Short Stories" (2020), and the fourth, "Restless Eye", is on pre-sale now with the EYESHOT publishing house.

Julie Hrudová (Prague, 1988) is a street and documentary photographer and photo editor based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Her work explores everyday life and visual storytelling in urban environments.
Julie has collaborated with a wide range of publications, and her photographs have been featured in numerous exhibitions, on an international scale. Her book Chasing Amsterdam, which features her weekly photos of Amsterdam taken for the newspaper Het Parool, was selected as one of the best Dutch photo books of 2022 by de Volkskrant. She currently continues to contribute weekly evening photos to this section.
