nel suo speech Julie parlerà di progetti fotografici di strada a lungo termine, di cui l'autrice è particolarmente esperta. la sua trattazione riguarderà come iniziare una serie, come mantenere la coerenza, come fare scelte editoriali.
Hrudová ha creato diverse serie a lungo termine, che vanno dalle sequenze in bianco e nero sulla sua città natale Amsterdam, alla sua serie sugli aironi e al libro fotografico Chasing Amsterdam. toccherà anche argomenti su come tornare produttivi in caso di mancanza di ispirazione.

Julie Hrudová (Praga, 1988) è una fotografa di strada e documentaristica ed editor fotografica con base ad Amsterdam, nei Paesi Bassi. Il suo lavoro esplora la vita quotidiana e la narrazione visiva in ambienti urbani.
Julie ha collaborato con una vasta gamma di pubblicazioni e le sue fotografie sono state esposte in numerose mostre, su scala internazionale. Il suo libro Chasing Amsterdam, che presenta le sue foto settimanali di Amsterdam scattate per il giornale Het Parool, è stato selezionato come uno dei migliori libri fotografici olandesi del 2022 da de Volkskrant. Long-term projects, a talk by Julie Hrudová
The talk is part of the panel with a formula taken from one of the major events dedicated to culture in the world, Tedx: short public and free interventions of 20 minutes each repeated on Saturday afternoon at 14.30 / 18.00 and Sunday morning 10.00 / 13.30, to offer everyone the opportunity to attend.
in her speech Julie will talk about long-term street photography projects, of which the author is particularly experienced. Her discussion will be about how to start a series, how to maintain consistency, how to make editorial choices.
Hrudová has created several long-term series, ranging from black-and-white sequences about his hometown of Amsterdam, to his heron series and the photo book Chasing Amsterdam. He will also touch on topics on how to get productive again in case of lack of inspiration.
The talk will be held in English, with a translator to support you.
Biography:
Julie Hrudová (Prague, 1988) is a street and documentary photographer and photo editor based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Her work explores everyday life and visual storytelling in urban environments.
Julie has collaborated with a wide range of publications, and her photographs have been featured in numerous exhibitions, on an international scale. Her book Chasing Amsterdam, which features her weekly photos of Amsterdam taken for the newspaper Het Parool, was selected as one of the best Dutch photo books of 2022 by de Volkskrant. She currently continues to contribute weekly evening photos to this section.
