CITIES presenta ROBERTO POLILLO
WORKSHOP SULLA FOTOGRAFIA ICM (INTENTIONAL CAMERA MOVEMENT)
Cities, magazine Italiano sulla fotografia Urbana prodotto da ISP (Italian Street Photography), apre con questo Ws una stagione didattica dedicata ai linguaggi fotografici usati nella fotografia urbana. I ws saranno realizzati principalmente su Milano in collaborazione con L’Istituto Italiano di Fotografia, e su Roma, ma anche su Catania, in collaborazione con alcuni nostri partner.
I teacher saranno autori internazionali, Italiani e stranieri, conosciuti e con stilemi personali. Autori che usano linguaggi fotografici evoluti e maturi, e che sono stati o saranno pubblicati su CITIES con loro storie. Roberto Polillo è uno di questi, attivo in campo internazionale e con una forte coesione linguistica, basata nel suo caso sulla fotografia ICM.
Cities avrà il piacere di ospitare nel numero 11 una sua serie su Milano, con alcune immagini scattate anche durante il ws. Il ws si svolgerà a Milano il 17 e 18 settembre, e prevede una parte teorica ed esercizi pratici. La base per la parte teorica sarà l’Istituto Italiano di Fotografia, una ormai storica scuola che in oltre 30 anni di attività ha formato molti talenti.
La fotografia ICM richiede una manualità notevole, ed esercizio costante per raggiungere risultati di spessore. Polillo è ormai considerato un maestro a livello internazionale su tale tecnica, che gli ha consentito di essere esposto in numerose fiere e spazi espositivi molto conosciuti, non ultimo il MIA Fair lo scorso aprile, dove Polillo è stato esposto in uno spazio personale di 64 mq con un wall record di 20 metri, vedi https://www.miafair.it/mostre-2022-roberto-polillo-invisible/

Cities, italian magazine on Urban Photography produced by ISP (Italian Street Photography), opens with this Ws an educational season dedicated to the photographic languages used in urban photography. The ws will be realized mainly in Milan in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Photography, and in Rome, but also in Catania, in collaboration with some of our partners.
The teachers will be international authors, Italian and foreign, known and with personal styles. Authors who use advanced and mature photographic languages, and who have been or will be published on CITIES with their stories. Roberto Polillo is one of these, active in the international field and with a strong linguistic cohesion, based in his case on ICM photography.
Cities will have the pleasure of hosting in number 11 one of its series on Milan, with some images also taken during the ws. The ws will take place in Milan on 17 and 18 September, and includes a theoretical part and practical exercises. The basis for the theoretical part will be the Italian Institute of Photography, a now historic school that in over 30 years of activity has trained many talents.
ICM photography requires considerable dexterity, and constant exercise to achieve thick results.
