Attilio Lauria

I have been dealing with photography for several years now, and in recent years especially as a critic and curator. Freelance journalist, I collaborate as a freelancer with IL FOTOGRAFO, FOTOIT and RIFLESSIONI magazines. Former Vice-President and Director of the Social Department of FIAF, the Italian Federation of Photographic Associations, I am currently a Lecturer and Reader of the PortfolioItalia circuit. Also for FIAF in 2017 I created the FIAFers community on Instagram. I organized and curated the first Italian contest dedicated to iPhone photography (http://it.blurb.com/b/2010832-the-i-phoneography-book); I was invited as judge and contributor to “Eyephoneography#2” (http://eyephoneography.com), a Spanish review of iphoneography inaugurated at the EFTI in Madrid (http://www.efti.es). in collaboration with the French FNAC; Among the numerous curatorships, the participation of the La Sapienza University in FotoGrafia 2008, the International Festival of Photography in Rome with the group show "The sound of normality", and various exhibitions for the editions of the review of the University of Calabria "Festivart";

Among the latest projects launched and curated, "Cronache Quaranteniche", conceived and curated during the first lockdown, a project for which FIAF received the historic award from the Veronesi Foundation.

 I collaborate on Cities magazine in the reporting of interesting Authors and writing the preface of the magazine

Mi occupo di fotografia ormai da diversi anni, e negli ultimi soprattutto in veste di critico e curatore.
Giornalista pubblicista, collaboro da free lance con i magazine IL FOTOGRAFO, FOTOIT e RIFLESSIONI.
Già Vicepresidente e Direttore del Dipartimento Social della FIAF, Federazione Italiana Associazioni Fotografiche, attualmente ne sono Docente e Lettore del circuito PortfolioItalia.

Sempre per FIAF nel 2017 ho creato su Instagram la comunità FIAFers.

Ho organizzato e curato il primo contest italiano dedicato alla fotografia con iPhone (http://it.blurb.com/b/2010832-the-i-phoneography-book); sono stato invitato come giudice e contributor a “Eyephoneography#2” (http://eyephoneography.com), rassegna spagnola di iphoneografia inaugurata presso l’Efti di Madrid (http://www.efti.es). in collaborazione con la francese FNAC;

Tra le numerose curatele, la partecipazione dell’Università La Sapienza al FotoGrafia 2008, Festival Internazionale della Fotografia di Roma con la collettiva “Il suono della normalità”, e diverse mostre per le edizioni della rassegna dell’Università della Calabria “Festivart”;

Fra gli ultimi progetti lanciati e curati, “Cronache Quaranteniche”, ideato e curato durante il primo lockdown, progetto per il quale FIAF ha ricevuto lo storico premio della Fondazione Veronesi.
